Tara

SOFOSH established “Tara” a home for family deprived and destitute specially abled children of ages ranging from 6 years to 25 years in 2008 at SOFOSH Dhadphale Centre, Pimple Gurav Pune. All efforts are made to provide shelter, best care, medical care, education and overall growth and development of children. We have employed trained care givers, and nursing staff to look after the health and growth of these children. Visiting doctors and other professionals are engaged for the well-being of the inmates. All children at our child care institute are taken care of with a lot of love and affection. They are provided with all required facilities at the child care institute. The facilities like Physio Therapy, Speech Therapy, Dance Therapy, Occupational therapy are provided for the overall growth and development of the children at Tara SOFOSH Dhadphale Centre.

It is a spacious home, which enables them to live with dignity and fulfill their human potential. It provides the children access to educational centres for the challenged and has a full-fledged physiotherapy unit to support their growth and development. They are looked after by a dedicated team of caregivers.
