In 1973, SOFOSH established Shreevatsa, a child care that provides shelter, care, educational and medical aid to family-deprived and destitute children including specially baled children between the age new born to 6 years. All efforts are made to take good of them, for their overall growth and development. The children at Shreevatsa are looked after with love and care. The institute also take efforts to permanently rehabilitate these children through our well established Government recognised adoption programme.
This programme caters to the needs of family deprived and destitute children surrendered by the birth givers or lost and found children. The objective is to provide day to day care which includes providing food and nutritious diet, shelter, clothing, medical help and education. We have employed trained care givers and nursing staff to look after the health and growth of these children. Visiting doctors and other professionals are engaged for the wellbeing of the inmates. The children are taken well care at the child care centre. All the facilities are provided to them for their overall growth and development. The children who are available for adoption are permanently rehabilitate through a government recognised adoption programme through CARA (Central Adoption Resource Authority) New Delhi.
